I’d look at these two to replace Metcalfe & Power Both fit the age/resale perspective. Webster as box to box - looked a real player against us.. ooc next summer Braybrooke in powers role Would like to see one or two more older head cms come in for experience to help #bcafc

@avalleybantam Does it help to keep a core? Yes But it’s not necessary. Prime example being us last season completely new team. Wrexham have done year after year. Takes a good manager but we’ve already got that

@LukeBCAFC You dont build towards promotion by rebuilding every season. Ask Lincoln and Bolton.

Individual quality of the squad was below par. Bolton had that, and ultimately won them the tie. Shame to lose a young lad like Metcalfe but for our level we simple can’t turn down a fee that big Rip it up for profit and rebuilt stronger. We have to evolve to improve #bcafc

@LukeBCAFC Exactly this, the premium for young English footballers is incredible these days, he’ll either go and flop at Millwall, or be sold for 20+mil in 1-2 years time, either way we win from this deal!

Surely Metcalfe should've had another year, if we got promoted his value would only go up and it's not like his value would've gone down for being 1 year older. Here I was thinking Rupp was splashing the cash but it's just money from selling our best asset 🤣 #bcafc

Bradford losing both Power and Metcalfe, it appears. Adam Phillips will add undeniable quality, but further midfield reinforcements will be needed to ensure that the club are prepared for next season. A big, big summer ahead for Bradford. #bcafc

@AGroundsss @_callumfowler Stendal wouldn’t have come back without promises. Also is a 442 merchant. Phillips doesn’t fit into that so makes sense for them to move him on

@seandonegan Agree need more of a box to box like Patto was. Phillips doesn’t have that running power to do that. Can imagine we’ll get someone and leave Metcalf playing deeper

@LukeBCAFC Yeah think he’ll definitely be playing off the right if we do get him but thought maybe he could play like a Pattison where he’s deeper but still very attacking

We reckon he’d be competition for sarce off the right or next to metcalfe being the more attacking of the two playing deeper? #bcafc
