🏴🇬🇧 England lads in Orlando, Florida for the World Cup 👏

And taking the piss out of Nestory Irankunda. All this US media talk is tiresome, but next week’s Seattle showdown between the USMNT and Socceroos should be fun 😊

The problem is that Americans play and care about too many sports other than soccer. If somehow, soccer became the most popular sport overnight, it would only take 15-20 years for the elite talents to come through. Our “best athletes” don’t play soccer, but that doesn’t mean a potential “best athletes” soccer team would be full of 6’5 guys. It means that the 5’8 speedster who likely would’ve been an elite winger, doesn’t pursue basketball and fizzle out. He would’ve pursued soccer at age 6 and perhaps done well. This argument is backed by how well the USA does in the Olympics. We have all the money/infrastructure to do well in the sports we care about. This is an economic/social question that is often argued by people who view it as a sports question.

Well they could tap you and you would fall over writhing in pain looking for a yellow card…. Sorry it’s not a serious sport if you have acting glasses designed to sell referees on fake injuries…let me know when you’re ready to get in the box and face 98 miles an hour… you won’t have to fake an injury if you get hit with that
