Dep. Min. Shen welcomed former Czech 🇨🇿 Speaker Markéta Pekarová Adamová on her visit to Taiwan. The two sides exchanged views on potential cooperation, noting shared challenges from authoritarian powers & calling for more cooperation. The exchange proved valuable for both sides.

Min. Chiu met with Members of the European Parliament last Friday for a constructive exchange in cross-Strait development. They discussed cross-Strait economic & trade relations and Taiwan's social resilience, reflecting shared interests in peace, stability, and resilience. 🤝🌍

The conference opened with remarks by NSC Secretary-General Joseph Wu, while MAC Deputy Minister Shen moderated Session 3, The Taiwan Strait in the Shadow of U.S.-China Competition.
