@clivetrue @sawsharkman @Meyer_Sci @OllieShipley @CobainMat I agree with @CobainMat and @OllieShipley, if you modify the modelled TEF distributions by consequence you modify your outputs. And if the TEF does not correspond to the taxa, lifestage of species of food source, the outputs will probably be biased.

could have done this in excel in 10 mins.... hour 2 in R...

In frequentist framework, with constant TEF if you have an error on the estimation of TEF, it is systematically the same error. BUT in Bayesian Framework it depend on the accurate of you prior distribution!
