The government may consider introducing a cooling-off period of 20 years for senior officials in positions of power, including military officers, before they can author books after retirement, top officials aware of the matter said on Friday. The developments come against the backdrop of a raging political firestorm over former army chief General (retired) Manoj Mukund Naravane’s unpublished memoir Four Stars of Destiny. Such news reaffirms your faith in the judiciary system. This exhibits the power of Nari Shakti and collectively sends a silent but strong positive message to women community. Every woman should and must stand up for herself. To protect self dignity and respect, do not wait for others to do it for you. We still have such men around who wait to insult you at a drop of a hat. Stand up with your head held high and the world will be with you. This is not my victory alone, but a victory of every woman out here who faces such abuse. Enough is enough. Lets stand united and fight it out together.

Anti-incumbency is incredibly strong in Tamil Nadu, and a regime change is imminent and inevitable! Anyone claiming there is no anti-incumbency in Tamil Nadu is fooling themselves and fooling you. In fact, there was anti-incumbency in 2024 too, but those votes split between ADMK+, NDA and Seeman. Hence DMK won 40/40. Moreover, that election was about whether we wanted PM Modi to continue or not, and it had nothing to do with DMK or CM Stalin. But 2026 is all about whether we even need CM Stalin to continue or not. Not just Mylapore or Nanganallur, but about 60% of the entire Tamil Nadu electorate wants the DMK government to go. NDA has the momentum. I will write a separate post on my seat projections for 2026 with reasons!
