✈️ The IATA/Platts Jet Fuel Price Index jumped another 12.6% WoW in the last week, reaching an average price of $197/bbl.
The index is not up 105.8% over last month and up 118.8% YoY. It has also surpassed the highs seen when Russia first attacked Ukraine.

🇺🇸 The Dallas Fed Agricultural Survey reported a weaker decline in demand for loans among farmers, with the index rising 9.6 pts to -10.2 in Q1 2026.
Despite this, bankers reported that conditions remained troubling due to low commodity prices and prevailing drought.

🏗️ US construction spending fell -0.3% MoM in January 2026 and was only up 1.0% YoY.
Private construction spending dropped -0.6% MoM and -0.1% MoM, with both private residential spending (-0.8% MoM) and nonresidential spending (-0.4% MoM) dropping.

⛽️ The GasBuddy national average price of gasoline jumped $0.243 in the last week to $3.92 per gallon. This is up $0.989 in the last month and up $0.841 vs a year ago.
The median gas price also surged, rising $0.30 to $3.79 per gallon. #gasprices

📈 The CFSEC Activity Index reached its highest point since March 2022. The manufacturing subindex pushed the headline index to a new high, surging to 46 in March, the highest since May 2021.
