The Maori Party lighting a government bill on fire on the steps of parliament shows they are just a bunch of school kid radical protestors.
They even joke about being arrested.
They are flipping the bird at the speaker and to the rules of the very institution that has allowed them the representation they purport to be fighting for.
Instead of lighting things on fire, maybe they should turn up to parliament more often and add to the debate.
These are the types of radicals that Labour want to be in government with.

@Alphafox78 Because she can. She’s not performing to an empty auditorium.
Take off your judgey hat Nana. The world has enough jealous bitches.
English

@PostQuake @nzfirst They represent this Maori and many others. Down Boy — you know nothing!
English

@chchris883 @nzfirst Not only can they write policy, they can write it in two different languages. What’s your claim to fame? Crying in a tea cup? TV & PS? Pffft. You’re watching the wrong space. Wakey Wakey.
English

@johnStrabler61 @nzfirst Your parliament? I don’t see your sorry arse in there. It’s THEIR parliament though. They won those seats fair & square! Course they can Haka. Fuck them that say they can’t. The change is coming. Buckle up bitch!
English

@nzfirst They hate and disrespect our parliament, yet they’re happy to take the fat pay packet and all of the associated perks. They have no place in parliament or any future government.

@Gumbootson @HobsonsPledgeNZ Hope you find comfort in having that to blame for being a failure.
English

@HobsonsPledgeNZ I was told this at uni when I enquired about 2 scholarships that were available.
I was told to not bother as I want Maori or pi

@HobsonsPledgeNZ Nobody gave a flying fuck back in the 50’s, 60,s & 70’s when Maori missed out on jobs because of race. Pakeha got the job before Maori. Welcome to our world.

@ideNZcity I can’t even watch this shit. Filthy rotten to the core bitch. 😡💔

It’s escalating every bloody year because there are breaches every bloody year. You think the govt would pay if they didn’t have to? Tax payers include Maori. Maori are paying the govt’s debt to themselves. On what other planet is that ok?
Pakeha brought their whanaunga to a country that didn’t belong to them, it belonged to Maori, it still does. If it didn’t, the govt wouldn’t be paying. Open your eyes and get out of your own way!
English

@mangonui08 Reason no 1 to abolish: This could be called a treaty breach (everything Maori activists don't like is a breach). This leads to yet another claim that will cost taxpayers more money. This is not only neverending, it's escalating every bloody year.
English

Bullshit! You want them out because you can’t control them. Potaka inserted Prebble in there to make them vote however govt wanted, but they refused!!! Prebble got the shits & left and you dickheads remain with egg on your face.
You can’t afford to get rid of the tribunal because you need them to rubber stamp shit when dealing with the west.
You’re all so stupid to think anyone is that stupid. You fools are the laughing stock on the world stage. Such an embarrassment.

@HerotodusAlive @HelenaT57230672 With so many people leaving why are jobs so hard to come by?
English

@HelenaT57230672 Fuck off. Jobs are so tight out there, be happy to have one.

Woohoo. Keep adding to this and shut the country down!

@annamh_nz You do know that Maori aren’t special, don’t you? Born in New York, you’re American.

Last time—you replied to my comment.
There has been consultation and again I reiterate, there is support from the Aus indigenous. I don’t have to read it to know, I see it. If you don’t see it, you don’t live here. Any fool knows there are two sides to a story. Only one has been sought here. Only one covered, & only one told. That’s the media as it is regularly known .
English

@MaBeeAnaDa @tauhenare Actually YOU replied to MY comment.
My notion as you term it is very much steeped in the knowledge that there has been push back both here and in Aussie. A colonial govt issuing funding without consultation puts us a thin line away from a colonial mindset.
English

Like everything else, there is a split. But where there is true consultation, respect, and partnership, it is accepted, even welcomed by the Aborigines.
While we are not speaking on the marae, it is marae topical. Share a notion like you shared, expect to be told to sit down. My Maori response is far more respectful than Pākehā.
Personal attack? Don’t be a victim. You responded to my comment. Expect a response. Just try not to cry about it.
English

@MaBeeAnaDa @tauhenare Ah so here comes the personal attack. You have your viewpoint I have mine.
You don’t like mine fine. But you don’t get to tell me to sit down. Not ever.
I have no issue with them seeking a place, but it should be with the agreement of the First Nation people. Stay salty.
