@PhakelaMthakath Wow,so in front of a white skin he can be so respectful, articulate, reasonable but a black skin won't get the same treatment,in Otto von Bismarck's name this guy is not exactly a fool,it's simple a colonial mentality which has inflicted his mind.

Settlers are living out their colonial fantasies in Kenya! Grabbing and occupying large tracts of African land, making life a living hell for indigenous communities all in the name of conservation! So now they've put an Ebola quarantine facility in the same spot! And Ruto just signed that National Disaster Risk Management Bill, which lets him declare a "National State of Disaster" – totally a political power play! It's just too much.

@zoomafrika1 If I could alter your accent and remove the word Kenya you could as well be a South African talking about our plight here in South Africa, our government has constitutionalized the land theft by settlers&the pillage still goes on,hopefully the current youth will join the dots.

I reject the derogatory term “amakwerekwere” completely. It is a slur used to insult fellow black Africans simply for being from another country. If loving and respecting other black Africans makes me a “kwerekwere”, then I am proudly one and I will never apologise for that. I am against illegal immigration and have said so clearly and consistently. South Africa has every right to secure its borders and enforce its laws. But I will not support xenophobic hatred or the dehumanisation of innocent people who are here legally simply because they are black Africans from other countries. Discrimination based on nationality or skin colour is wrong. We must deal firmly with illegality not turn fellow Africans into enemies. South Africa’s problems will not be solved by attacking people who look like us. Let’s focus on the real issues: rule of law, border control, and building a better country for all South Africans without descending into tribalism or xenophobia. Enough with the slurs.

@lEsethuHasane @MapulaMokgosang All ethnic groups in South Africa have an element of tribalism it's not unique to one tribe, this is generally a microcosm of what we find in the continent of Africa, all genocides in Africa were largely based on tribal lines.

Why do people get so defensive when we call out rogue elements and directly name mobs that display a clear propensity for violence, tribalism, and other bigoted behaviour? If your concern is purely about illegal immigration as it genuinely is for most South Africans then you should have no reason to feel implicated when those with far uglier motives are called out. The two are not the same, and conflating them only muddies the water. ?

When a Tsonga is killed by a tribalist and xenophobic mob, the victim, a Tsonga is labelled a criminal by the police. Interesting 🤨

Guys, it's good to be African. ❤️ The music is unmatched. 🎶 The food is amazing. 🍲 The cultures are rich and diverse. 🪘 The languages are beautiful. 🗣️ The people are resilient. Sometimes we spend so much time focusing on our differences that we forget how much we have in common. Africa is not perfect, but it's home. And despite all our challenges, I wouldn't trade being African for anything.

@penuelist_ Initially the aim seemed noble& peaceful but now it's almost derailed deliberately/ infiltrated/ hijacked so much that on 30th June it may disintegrate into several groups fighting for or against without a clear distinction or aim who is fighting who for what, now it's chaos.
