We had so much fun during our walk to the park! We saw lots of the landmarks that we had plotted onto our route using google maps. We bumped into some people who help us along the way too!
Magic potions!
We used our magic wands to create magic potions. We made bubbling witch’s brew and watched as the potion overflowed. The children talked about the different ingredients and explained why the potion had started to bubble! 🧙♀️🦇😀👏
World Book Day fun!

This week we have been thinking about how we brush our teeth and why it is so important to keep our teeth healthy. We experimented with eggs and sugary drinks like cola and fruit juice and saw the effects that sugar has on our teeth.
The children in Reception became detectives today! We found photographs showing the school at night time and the children then explored school to try to find the same places during the day! Well done everybody! 🔎👏😀
Celebrating British Science Week!
We have been exploring the effect that water has on paper. As part of our STEM experiment the children made predictions and thought that the flowers would become soggy but the paper soaked into the flowers and helped the petals to open! 💐 🌷 🥀
The children have been interested to learn about Fairtrade Fortnight with Pablo the super banana! We looked for the logo on items & sorted them into groups. We have had fun reading the children’s Busy Books showing their research at home about Fairtrade. Well done everybody!
Last year, the children in Reception & Y1 recorded a special performance of ‘The Princess and the Pea’. Today this video has been shared with schools in the Greater Manchester Hub as part of our World Book Day celebrations. We were all so excited to spot each other in the video!
