#CriticalRoleSpoiler is better than the fans deserve; this is truly the best of the 3 campaigns as a game in a way that some of yall clearly can’t appreciate. Mercer is on fire right now and some of yall are just seeing for the first time how a thrilling game is really played. 💯

@nydorin Yeah it’s not a fair choice to have to make, but straits were dire and she needed to make an unfair choice. I think she did choose; the coin was probably a very smart deflection of perceived responsibility; I think Ashley is a good enough player to have known what she was doing.

@nydorin I don’t think it was really a coin toss; my money’s on the theory that she was gonna save Orym either way, because Laudna’s gonna be easier to res down the road and Orym WAS the right call. Coin was just to deflect responsibility for the choice before a ravenous toxic fanbase.

@matthewmercer The people who say CR is scripted clearly don’t play enough D&D. Full stop, if they knew the collaborative narrative experience thoroughly, they’d know that this is how good D&D is played when everyone is paying attention to the game.

There is no greater compliment one can receive than claims that your game is scripted. Its really the sweetest! For those who have had those incredible, nail-biting, transformative sessions and adventures… you earn that award too. Means you got a good table. ;)

@quiddie Eating this last episode up like candy is the true sign of an experienced DM vs. a passive viewer. This was some real D&D shit and people are right to eat it up.

Just caught up. Campaign 3 is absolutely on fire. There’s something special about this third campaign and I don’t think CR has ever been better. Matt is showing a masterclass in suspense right now, DM’s better pay attention. #CriticalRoleSpoilers

I dunno where everyone seems to have gotten this idea that service to one’s country makes someone a good person or inherently deserving of respect but today is a great day to re-evaluate that.
