@RaiderDhillon1 He has not played very well. Take the blinders off. He started to look better later in his rookie year at C but he was a sister at G before that. A penalty machine. Then last year he was meh. Always hurt. Concussion. Immature. Stupid.
Maybe we’re missing something behind the scenes, but I’ve never understood the JPJ criticism.
The health concerns are fair, but when he’s been on the field he’s played well at both G/C. I love the physicality and edge he brings. The personality stuff feels overblown to me.
@theladtimo Well he was injured I think in the semi finals of the champions league or maybe a league game around that time. He's just not ready to go. Hopefully soon
Alphonso Davies starts on the bench for Canada tonight. But why? 🙄
No matter how strong your squad is, leaving your biggest star out always becomes the story if things go wrong.
Alphonso Davies is the most overrated full-back in world football — a one-dimensional speed merchant whose “next big thing” hype died years ago and he’ll never cut it at a true elite club.Pace and overlapping runs look flashy in a weak Bundesliga, but defensively he’s a positional disaster, poor in 1v1s, and offers nothing creative once teams sit deep. Bayern have been carrying him for seasons. Any big-money move (Real, etc.) will expose him hard — think early Trent-level liability but with less passing. Players like Frimpong, Koundé or even Theo Hernández are miles clearer right now. Bayern fans and Canada stans about to spam highlight reels. The film doesn’t lie.
@kylenabecker@Ceo_Branding While the refs fycjed the Knicks over at least 4 times in a 2 min sequence (maybe less) in the first Q, they were still down 29, and crying about it as if that's the reason they were down is laughable.
