@MarkInColumbo Felix has dominated these games in ways that don’t show on the box score. He can switch 1-5, he has guarded ball handlers full court, changes shots at the rim all night. It’s been pretty incredible to watch. I think he got hisself drafted, I really do.

Anybody who’s followed @Vol_Hoops for the past 50 years gets it, the scope of what Rick Barnes has done with a program that has produced great players and great moments, but never this kind of elite consistency. Yes, there’s still the white whale, the Final Four. But there was a time when the mere idea of three straight Elite 8’s on Rocky Top would have been like saying the university was going to order the band to never play the song again.

Rick Barnes is seemingly one of the more maligned coaches in power conference college basketball. Guy has one everywhere he’s been and has been winning for almost 40 years.

@WesReynolds1 2024 they were the third best team in the country and ran into Edy and the refs in E8 Last year they were the 4th/5th best team in the country and played a team that was just better and they played in a shooting vacuum
