Trading in range for 3 years and earnings on the horizon. Reclaiming 230 here would be huge.
Trade idea: Long > 227🎯
If trend establishes take 7-14 dte (or further out depending on risk tolerance) contracts. Run & roll them as long as the trend permits but not into earnings, take profits along the way. Roll into small position for earnings lotto.
230 is the key level here. Rejection there negates staying in.
Manage risks appropriately.

@kpak82 Once I internalized that the bull or bear part refers to the preceding action and any flag, pennant, wedge can resolve up or down regardless, it effectively doubles the amount of resolution setups you are prepared to take.

$TSLA Best way to learn is from personal experience. Trading rules are made after you get humbled and the pain will last for a while.
You will now remember that bull flags can be bull traps and that the market isn't your friend.

Most people that are new to trading only think about what they might miss out on (FOMO). What they don't consider is what the downside potential and risk will be. $TSLA (weekly) is currently a failed bull flag breakout. Prior failed bull flag breakouts averaged about a -40% drawdown.

@FSTrades Personally this is a wait and see if it can firm up. 4th knock on that support means residual demand may be expended and that wick down could be revisited on any weakness, the volume on the sell on the last day makes me think the first bounce will be short lived. Knife catch.

I’m back on the $NVDA train. Quietly putting in very constructive action. That last double bottom turned into a base on base. Technically a flat base due to correction size but more of a cup w handle look. RS line has been turning up. Main focus name next week . .

$LMT Still loving this one. Jumped into some Dec 15s which still hold all the call flow from a few weeks ago and piled into some Jans. Think this has the making to really get busy. Peep that four day pennant and the volume within it

@YocumsCharting Short fixed income was one of the most successful trades of the last two years, breaking with a lot of historical precedent. It probably became crowded and is now doing a lot of unwinding after the peak and the island top at the end of October. Levels seem unresponsive so far.

Kind of wild. I look at so many charts. It doesnt matter if your a bull or a bear right now.
It literaly is about rotation and postioning yourself where the capital is going to roll.
I saw so many accounts a weejago pumping $GOOGL going to the moon. Sure its early. Could bounce out this hard but there entries at that time sucked
These were "influencer sized accounts" 50k+ to be honest. 3 monster accounts.
