Really saddened to hear that our former Chaplain, good friend & @UofGlasgow alumnus Reverend Stuart McQuarrie has passed away. His pastoral care & good humour was as legendary as his ability to bring communities together. If you needed him, you’d never be disappointed 💔

Today, I have been given the absolute honour of having the title of ‘University Bedellus’ bestowed upon me - not bad for the unskilled shy teenager who in 1990, started off @UofGEstates as milk-boy. It’s been the most incredible journey & all down to the most amazing colleagues.

Love it ❤️ or hate it 💔– the Boyd Orr is one of our more controversial buildings and opened its doors in 1972. The @UofGlasgow recently refurbished it to make it a more comfortable, sustainable place to learn. Do you have any fond memories in the Boyd Orr? 💙
