At Med #GrandRounds @nyugrossman today, Chiara Giannarelli, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Medicine in the Leon H. Charney Division of Cardiology, delivered an enlightening talk on using multiomics for drug repurposing. She highlighted how deep immune phenotyping and multiomics of human atherosclerotic plaques can uncover disease-driving pathways and systematically match them to existing drugs with anti-inflammatory and anti-atherosclerotic potential.
