@jillian_rigert I am so proud of you! We are never too old to do what we desire. I am 43 and finishing Derm residency in 2024. My road has been long, DDS~>MD ~>DSc-> ECFMG certification and applying for residency in the US- no regrets. Go for it!

I'm leaning in to an overdue desire to go back to residency for a very intentional career transition and applying next year - If all goes well, I'll be over 40 when I graduate. Still going to do it, but that reality hit me hard. Anyone been there to relate?

One thing I wish I had done throughout med school/residency is keep a running list of all the awesome things I’ve done: difficult diagnoses I’ve made, patients I’ve helped, kudos from attendings, etc. Because my dumbass brain only wants to remember all the times I’ve fucked up
