Today, 12 March 2026, The County Assembly management led by the Speaker hon, Edin Wario Dida and Clerk, CPA Chare Mato appeared before the Public Accounts Commitee of Senate for interrogation on the Auditor General reports for the Financial year 2024/25.

Abdifatah Shukri Alio has been sworn in as a new nominated member of the County Assembly of Marsabit. He joins the Assembly on Jubilee Party ticket as a youth representative. His swearing follows the IEBC gazette notice dated 26 August 2025.

The Committee will now retreat to compile its report, which will subsequently be tabled and debated on the floor of the House
