According to the Institute of Taxation and Economic Policy—a well-regarded group—the first four big tech companies to report their earnings have disclosed that they have received, collectively, $51 billion in federal tax breaks in 2025.
The big four are Amazon, Alphabet, Meta and Tesla. They disclosed that they reported $315 billion in U.S. profits in 2025 and “collectively paid just 4.9 percent of that amount in federal corporate income taxes—with Tesla paying exactly zero.”
“These tax breaks come on top of a far larger tax benefit that these companies enjoyed last year by virtue of the 2017 Trump tax cut’s reduction in the statutory tax rate from 35 to 21 percent. The baseline amount of tax owed on these companies’ $315 billion of U.S. income in 2025 would have been $44 billion higher absent the 2017 rate cuts.”
When are the American people going to organize back in their districts to focus on the tiny number of human beings to make sure all this never happens again? The 535 members of Congress. You already have, people, about 30 percent of the Congress on your side to begin with! But without organized civic lobby groups back home, the corporations are moving relentlessly to become zero federal income tax payers. Already scores of corporations pay no federal income taxes year after year.
This is an outrage and there is no defense against it once people organize against their two Senators and Representatives. -R

Here we go again folks ⬇️
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed that a Trump's executive order requiring banks to collect citizenship information is “in process":
1. The requirement would apply to all bank customers which would require banks to collect citizenship documentation from:
- New customers, and
- Existing customers who already have accounts.
Banks would be required to go back and obtain proof of citizenship from their entire customer base.
2. REAL IDs would not satisfy the EO standard or the requirement. REAL IDs verify identity and address, but they do not prove citizenship.
3. Passports are the primary document but the EO is focused on citizenship, including:
- U.S. passports
- U.S. passport cards
- Birth certificates
- Naturalization certificates
Banks have warned that more than half of U.S. adults do not have a passport.
4. Birth certificates with different names would require additional documentation. A birth certificate proves citizenship at birth, but not current identity.
If the name on the birth certificate does not match the customer’s current legal name, banks would need linking documents, such as:
- Marriage certificate
- Divorce decree
- Court‑ordered name change
- Adoption decree
These documents must be certified copies.
5. Banks, industry groups and financial‑privacy experts have raised concerns about the EO:
:
- Millions of current bank customers could lose access to bank accounts if they cannot produce the required documents.
- Rural residents, seniors, low‑income individuals, and people without passports would be disproportionately affected.
- Banks would be required to store sensitive citizenship documents, creating new data‑security risks.
6. Experts have noted unresolved issues:
- How citizenship data would be stored and protected
- Whether federal agencies could access the information
- How banks would handle customers who cannot produce documents
- The cost and feasibility of verifying tens of millions of existing accounts

•The U.S. Senate may hold a floor vote TODAY which would overturn a 20-year moratorium on sulfide-ore copper mining on 225,000 acres of Superior National Forest land in the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) Wilderness in northern Minnesota. The Boundary Waters is the most visited Wilderness in the United States.
🛶 Enjoying the Minnesotan/Canadian wilderness by canoe or other lesser watercraft is one of our nations greatest available pastimes, and one I have personally enjoyed my entire life. We must protect these public lands from the rapacious capitalists threatening to turn them into a poisoned wasteland.
•This vote in Congress would open the door to copper mining at the headwaters of this entire ecosystem. This kind of mining produces toxic pollution, including acid runoff and heavy metals, that can contaminate nearby waters.
•The Boundary Waters supports a major outdoor economy that sustains thousands of jobs and generates over a billion dollars a year - built on clean water and intact public lands. But this vote would clear the way for toxic mining that puts all of that at risk. It would also set a dangerous precedent, making it easier to roll back protections for public lands across the country, including wilderness areas, national monuments, and national parks.
•This is a defining moment. If you care about clean water, public lands, and protecting places we can’t replace, now is the time to speak up.
•Protect the Boundary Waters, and vote NO on House Joint Resolution 140. Let’s save this treasured place for all of us—forever. on.nrdc.org/4csRkwi

You can't tell it's there. It looks like a normal window. But it's generating power day in and out.
MIT calculated that if a skyscraper's windows used clear solar window technology at just 5% efficiency, they'd cover more than a quarter of the building's entire electricity needs.
A new Danish breakthrough hit 12.3% efficiency, on par with commercial solar panels. As a window!
There are approximately 5.6 million commercial buildings in the United States. Most of them are covered in glass. That glass currently does one thing: let light in. It could be doing two.
We spend decades arguing about where to put solar panels. What if the answer was the buildings we've already built?

France passed a law requiring solar panels on every parking lot with more than 80 spaces.
Parking lots over a certain size have three to five years to cover at least half their surface area with solar canopies or face fines.
The projected output: up to 11 gigawatts of capacity, the equivalent of 10 nuclear reactors.
The panels shade the cars. They can charge EVs directly underneath them. They generate electricity for the grid. The parking lot goes from dead infrastructure to power plant without using a single additional acre of land.
France plans to increase solar tenfold and double wind capacity by 2033.
The US has approximately 800 million parking spaces. Eight hundred million. Most of them are uncovered asphalt sitting in direct sunlight.
Why aren't we doing this?

The man who spent years whining that the government illegally spied on his campaign is now demanding Congress let him spy on every American—without a warrant.
FISA 702 is the real threat to Americans’ privacy: warrantless surveillance of U.S. persons under the guise of targeting foreigners. Far bigger than the Title I abuse Trump complains about.
Stop electing hypocrites who trash the Constitution. Tell Congress: Vote NO on FISA 702.
