you can definitely feel yoo youngjin’s absence and it’s frustrating because people hated on his style and called it outdated but it clearly was a large part of the “sm sound”

@Megurimeru I have said multiple times since the debut of H2H that they have the weakest main vocalist ever in SM gg and it was a disappointment, then people were after me. 8 members and none are outstanding. SM really low the bar. They are looking more and more like Hybe groups.

@predebutjjong69 @isyemael @tytaez @Yanfiih I think that's my main issue with riize vocal line. I can distinguish the members, but aside from sohee, none of them really stand out
With h2h tho it's been an issue since the chase 😭 I can't tell who's singing and there's no standout voice that anchors the group for me too

Some groups have this issue and some don’t, a lot of the time putting names to voices is harder than recognizing that they’re different.
In H2H’s case I believe the girls’ biggest issue

and even if it sounds like something they would do, rv members have the ability to elevate the worst songs out there and make them listenable with their vocals alone so idk what’s the point you’re trying to make here.

@soullvrrs Not stupid as a die hard SM stan, you're conditioned to expect different flavors and vocal colors from each member. That's literally part of what made SM groups so enjoyable to listen to in the first place

Blaming this on SM. But on the other note, if you’re a fan and you listen to them all the time, you can tell who’s singing who and they all have unique different voices but that wont matter if you only judge through one song-

@Yanfiih But this is the first time an SM group’s vocal line hasn’t had members with distinctly different vocal colors. I’ve noticed the same thing with riize as well

@Megurimeru @kflies26 This song make them all have the same tones imo lol.. they should make one of them use lower register or notes and the other in another notes and harmonizing, maybe that’s why im not really into sm groups..
