600 commercial ships are waiting behind the Strait of Hormuz for their status to be determined.
Peyman Falsafi, a member of the Agriculture Commission of the Iranian Parliament: About 600 commercial ships are waiting in the Strait of Hormuz for their status to be determined, and as long as the enemy continues its blockade and maritime piracy, this process will continue with full force.

Ali Tajarnia spoke on Thursday at a conference titled 'In the Name of Iran, for the Persian Gulf,' held at the National Library of Iran.
Ali Tajarnia, the secretary of the 'In the Name of Iran, for the Persian Gulf' conference, spoke on Thursday morning at the National Library of Iran. Remembering the martyrs of the Persian Gulf — from Rais-Ali Delvari to Alireza Tangsiri, and the martyrs of the Dena destroyer and the Minab school — and citing great historical events, he added: 'Our pure-ancestored forefathers laid the foundation of this institution based on trade.'
The secretary of the 'In the Name of Iran, for the Persian Gulf' conference added: 'For 520 years, the people of the north and south shores of the Persian Gulf dreamed of the accursed departure of foreigners from this sea — a dream that is being realized thanks to the comrades of Alireza Tangsiri and Shahram Irani. Today, we stand at a point where we wish we were the future generations and the long-held dream of our ancestors from the past.'
Tajarnia emphasized: 'Iran-Shahr is the civilization of roads. Over millennia, our pure-ancestored forefathers laid the foundation of this civilization on the basis of trade. Nearly all the wars of Iran have been fought over land routes against eastern and western invaders. But throughout these many centuries, our waterways have seen no vessel other than merchant ships — from Kong, Siraf, and Hormuz. Our maritime trade partners, whether in the Far East or Africa, thought only of commerce, just like us. A few decades before the accursed passage of Vasco da Gama around the Cape of Good Hope, Zhang Yi, the great Chinese admiral, brought his massive fleet with a message of peace and friendship to the Persian Gulf. But 520 years ago, the sound of the cannons of Afonso de Albuquerque's fleet shattered the centuries-old security and tranquility of the Persian Gulf.'
The secretary of the 'In the Name of Iran, for the Persian Gulf' conference reminded: 'For 520 years, cannon-armed Portuguese, Dutch, British, and American ships have been unwanted guests in a waterway that was the cradle of civilization and a symbol of peaceful trade.'
Tajarnia continued: 'Today, thanks to the blood of Iran's martyrs and the efforts of the comrades of Alireza Tangsiri and Shahram Irani, the Persian Gulf is returning to its true owners. Now, it is the duty of every patriotic Iranian to continue the path that the martyrs opened with their blood, so that after five centuries of the accursed presence of foreigners, the Persian Gulf — this brilliant gem, the cradle of civilization — can once again become a sea of peace, friendship, and prosperity for its original inhabitants.'
The conference secretary added: 'What must not be forgotten in the clamor of this historic battle is this truth: that our Arab neighbors, despite the unkindness of some of their governments, are our brothers and sisters and our historical companions in the great shared civilization of the Persian Gulf. The magnificent civilizational return of the Persian Gulf is possible only in the shadow of eliminating colonial relations and reproducing human relations based on love — which has been the great foundation of the 5,000-year-old civilization of Iran-Shahr.'
Tajarnia said: 'This conference is an effort to draw new horizons for the future of our Persian Gulf. We are determined to preserve the achievements of the martyrs of the recent great national defense and to fulfill a dream that perhaps 15 generations of Iranians have dreamed of. My colleagues and I, in this conference, strive to create a platform where — aside from differences in tastes, opinions, and political affiliations — we can come together solely in the name of Iran and for the Persian Gulf, to deliberate on a glorious future.

A must-see clip for Democrat Congresswoman @SaraJacobsCA standing up to Pete Hegseth:
“And Mr. Secretary (Pete Hegseth), if you think this is what winning looks like (in Iran), then maybe we should be questioning your mental stability and the president should think about replacing you.”
It's all a joke to him. He doesn't care about Americans.

New: The $25 billion estimate that a top Pentagon official gave to lawmakers on Wednesday for the total cost to date of the Iran war is a lowball figure that does not include the cost of repairing extensive damage suffered by US bases in the region, sources tell @NatashaBertrand & me.
