@wiebecnossen It is not equivalent though. It’s subtle, but it might be more clear if you add more fields to the smaller interfaces, you’ll see it’s not that easy to combine all the value for `a`

@mattpocockuk It is beyond me why Prettify should only make ANDs prettier and not ORs. The type { a: 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 } is definitely more concise and it seems completely equivalent to me.

Here's a quick thread on a super useful type helper you've probably never heard of (nope, not even advanced folks).

@ryanflorence Love the setup! Just have a small tip/suggestion: keep your onions and potatoes not so close, since gases released by the onions can speed up sprouting in the potatoes, resucing shelf life! Other than that, amazing, I hope to one day achieve the same level of organization! 😄

@moshhamedani When I first watch a course, it’s usually at 1x, but when I go back an rewatch portions of it to refresh my memory, I tipically go >1x

There is React, Vue, and Angular, and then there is Svelte. It makes so many things different from all the others, which comes with an awesome developer experience. Time for an introduction to Svelte, the frontend framework you might fall in love with. 💛 🧵🔽

@moshhamedani N.32 was my favorite, good contrast, close second n.57, the other are too busy with too many colors, I feel! Can’t wait to dig into this course, understanding Docker has always been hard for me, but you always manage to explain everything so clearly!

@moshhamedani I’m dealing with this exact conundrum in the past few days, I need to focus on defining what precisely needs to go in the store so I can make a more educated decision!

#Redux or #React context? Use Context for sharing small objects that don't change often. Use Redux for sharing large objects that change frequently.

@moshhamedani @ramtinKermani I’m curious, what would you consider a “large” state tree? Also, what do you mean by render hell? Wouln’t that depend on how many times I use a particular state, not the method of storing it?

@ramtinKermani React Context is fine for sharing small amount of data. If you have a large state tree, you should avoid React Context or your app will suffer render hells.

Has anyone used overmindjs as an alternative to #redux or #mobx? I just came across it yesterday and it looks great!

We all need to work together to stop this Coronavirus epidemic. Keep social distance. Work from home. Stop being selfish when grocery shopping. Wash your hands often. Don’t shake hands or do fist bumps. RT please.

@smartereveryday Were there equal number spoons at the beginning of the day? I’d tend to agree with the wifey, though, especially because I image a lot of kids in their parents arms, reaching for a spoon...

The lady at this yogurt place stacks all the spoons up evenly at the beginning of every day. -I think it’s a graph that shows that people prefer blue. -My wife says “Nope. It’s just the closest one to the check out lady so easiest to grab. Redo test”. -Your thoughts?

@jonasschmedtman I took the course a little while ago, so couldn’t provide much feedback on its structure, but I do remember I really enjoyed the content, especially the initial part on the “behind the scenes” of Javascript, very illuminating!

@DanWahlin On the italian side, the only one I know, Italo is probably your best bet, but it doesn’t run everywhere. If you have to travel with Trenitalia, try your best to avoid “regionale” trains, and if possible go for “Frecciarossa” (italian high-speed), more expensive but worth it!!

I’m considering taking a train from Zurich to Rome for the experience. Anyone done something similar recently and have any train recommendations (or trains to stay away from)? I’m a newbie when it comes to trains. 😀 Thanks in advance.

@moshhamedani Awesome! I decided to bite the bullet and got the monthly subscription, to get access to all your courses! I had already bought some of them, on multiple platforms, and was never disappointed, and can’t wait to keep learning with your help!

@moshhamedani Awesome, knowing the instructor loves what they produced is a great indicator of the quality of the course itself! Especially knowing the quality of your past courses!

The best feeling for an online instructor is when they finish the last video of a course they worked really hard on. This was an exhausting journey and I'm hoping you'd love this course, learn a lot and ace your interviews! Data Structures 2 coming...
