Thanks to some of our supportive @Saltersgate1 Mums for coming along last night to celebrate @connect_scot 75th birthday. The school’s Parent Council regularly attend their useful training sessions and utilised their excellent resources to re-establish their group last session.

Congratulations to @connect_scot as they celebrated 75 years of Home-School Partnerships tonight. It was great to hear about the achievements of Parent Councils throughout Scotland and the strides Connect have taken to support parental engagement in education

We had our first face-to-face Parent Council Chairs meeting this evening to discuss plans for next session. It was so lovely to see parents in person rather than on a screen. We did’t wave goodbye like we have so far online either! 👋🏼 🤣 Thanks to @LasswadeHSC for hosting us
