There we come across him years after his own travels left him wounded and regenerating for over 3 decades. But what about his past? Greetings everyone! The Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era demo has been live for a while now, and we hope that you’ve had a fantastic time experiencing everything new in the lands of Jadame! We are currently working tirelessly to improve the game based on your invaluable feedback. However, while our devs have been busy polishing the code, we’ve also been preparing a massive surprise behind the scenes. We prepared a special video for this occasion: youtu.be/fdrEvUnps6U We are incredibly honored to announce that the founder of New World Computing and creator of the Might and Magic franchise himself — Jon Van Caneghem — has returned once more to contribute to the universe so many have come to love and embrace! We have invited Mr. Caneghem to join us as a Creative Advisor at Unfrozen, offering his deep knowledge and insight of early Might and Magic games for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era! It will be the first time since Heroes of Might and Magic IV that he’s participated in the series’ creation! He will also share his experience that he has acquired over the years since Might and Magic: Book One. Let us hear from the man himself: “Hi! I’m Jon Van Caneghem, the creator of the original Might and Magic series and the founder of New World Computing! I’ll be teaming up with Unfrozen to advise them on game design, worldbuilding and other creative matters for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era! It is a great pleasure to see the world I have built all those years ago thrive and be a part of so many people’s memories. I’m very glad to be able to contribute to it once again and walk this road with all of you who made Might and Magic into the legendary series it is today! Olden Era is a work of love and passion from a team that truly knows its craft and I’m incredibly happy to be able to share my experience with them!
