My only concern is what happens to the money that gets released. Iran has supported terrorist groups in the region, so I think it’s fair to worry that some of that money could end up strengthening them. Stopping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon is a major win, but hopefully the deal has other agreements for risks like that.
English

@courtney883 His ERA was under 2.00, 5 starts ago and now it’s 3.31. Not good… That’s the one thing that’s going to hold us back. Starting pitching…
English

@ChiSoxFanMike Starting to worry about Martin. He’s gotten rocked in 3 of his last 5 starts.
English

@NikkiHaley Even if they don’t build a nuclear weapon, you’re just handing terrorists a lot more money.
English

@foundmyfitness @gesaratsian Yeah the people I know that have dementia or had it and have passed on, ate a lot more than that(6 ounces in a day) seemingly. I wonder if eating too much was bad as well? I don’t know for sure, but I believe they ate meat at every meal.
English

@gesaratsian Two servings per day (not a typo) was what the heaviest eaters were eating in this study. A serving here defined as 3 ounces.
English

Higher meat intake was associated with less cognitive decline and lower dementia risk in APOE e4 carriers, a group at higher risk of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Those who ate ~2 servings of meat per day had a better 10-year cognitive trajectory and a 55% lower dementia risk compared to people eating less than a half a serving per day.
That pattern wasn't seen in the non-APOE e4 carriers and was NOT observed for processed meat. Unprocessed red meat alone was also linked to lower dementia risk in APOE e4 carriers.
My take is not “everyone should eat more meat.”
But a few servings per day of unprocessed meat (as observed in this study) is perfectly healthy for most people.

English

@foundmyfitness They were a mix of all meat. Processed and unprocessed.
English

@foundmyfitness The only thing about this is, all the people I know that had dementia were indeed heavy meat eaters. That’s my observational conclusion…
English

@grok @atrupar Yeah, we’ll have to wait for those details and even then, the can is kicked down the road because there’s more negotiations that need to occur. So essentially this isn’t a complete deal and while I understand things sometimes need to occur in stages, this isn’t a resolved matter.
English

The 2015 JCPOA under Obama was a detailed multilateral nuclear deal (P5+1 + EU) capping Iran's enrichment at 3.67%, limiting centrifuges/stockpiles, and requiring IAEA inspections in exchange for phased sanctions relief. Many restrictions had 10-15 year sunsets.
The June 2026 preliminary Trump deal is a short ~1.5-page MOU/framework to end recent US-Iran hostilities, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, lift the naval blockade, and create a 60-day period for further talks on nuclear issues and sanctions relief. It includes a commitment against nuclear weapons but defers most details (e.g., enriched uranium handling) to upcoming negotiations. Terms are not fully public.
Key differences: scope (full nuclear limits vs. ceasefire + framework), detail/multilateral vs. brief/bilateral-leaning, and vastly changed context (Iran's program far more advanced now). Direct apples-to-apples comparison is limited until more details emerge.
English

lmao -- NewsNation plays Sen. Marsha Blackburn a clip of her railing about the Iran nuclear deal in 2015 and saying "I think we should require the president to come forward with every component" and asks if she wants the same transparency now, but she claims "this is very different from what Obama did"

A fresh 2025 randomized crossover study found that adding oyster mushroom powder (rich in β-glucans) to meals delivered impressive results:
1. Better glucose tolerance
2. Improved insulin metabolism
3. +17% higher GLP-1 (your natural satiety hormone)
4. More balanced appetite throughout the day
The magic? β-glucans act as powerful prebiotics, feeding your gut bacteria and supporting metabolic health from the inside out.
Simple, natural, and effective. Just a bit of oyster mushroom powder could help you feel fuller longer while keeping blood sugar steadier.
Who else is already using mushrooms for metabolic health? 👇

I agree with that, but many black people might not get that benefit of the doubt in a lot of situations. Actually I’m ok with profiling to a certain degree. You do have to be smart and not put yourself in a bad situation. However, when people see things like this genetic variant, they will run with it and judge the whole group.
English

@MirageRC3 @aznnorth @kangminlee Agree, that's why I started with each individual should be judged for who they are. I like my mother and grandson are a bit quirky, but quite intelligent. I assume it's nature, just who I am.
English

@BustedOpenRadio @davidlagreca1 @bullyray5150 @Jade_Cargill I agree with Bully and Dave. She has really improved in the ring and it’s clear that she’s better than a lot of people are giving her credit for.

@ErikLambert1 First Ben Johnson and now Splitter!? I hope this is the start of something good for the Bulls.
English

The #Bulls swiping Tiago Splitter from Portland is one of the shocks of the offseason.
Everybody thought the Blazers would keep the coach after the miracle he pulled off in 2025-2026.
So did Blazers players, and they aren't happy. (1/2)

Strong Triceps = Better Push-Ups & Real-World Strength After 50 💪
Most people hammer push-ups but ignore the perfect complement: Tricep Dips.
Why they’re a game-changer:
They zero in on the triceps (the “back” of your arms) while also hitting shoulders and chest
• Under 30 sec → Needs serious work
• 30–60 sec → Average for active adults
• 60–90 sec → Solid endurance
• 90–120 sec → Excellent functional strength
• 2+ minutes → Elite-level conditioning
The Balance Factor:
• Under 30 sec → Needs serious work
• 30–60 sec → Average for active adults
• 60–90 sec → Solid endurance
• 90–120 sec → Excellent functional strength
• 2+ minutes → Elite-level conditioning
Quick Form:
• Hands on edge, fingers forward, body facing away
• Lower by bending elbows (keep them close to body)
• Press back up powerfully
• Start with knees bent if needed
Aim for 8–15 reps or hold the top position for time.
Your arms (and future independence) will thank you.
📌 Bookmark & test yourself weekly. Strong triceps after 50 isn’t optional — it’s essential.

It seems to me that you were focusing on whether cheating and violence are the same, but that wasn’t the point I was trying to make. I was saying that impulses or susceptibility due to DNA don’t determine behavior.
Saying “the violence Blacks bestow upon society” is still assigning the actions of individuals to an entire race, which is the broad judgment I was trying to challenge. I think it goes deeper than “Black people are just violent.” Environment, upbringing, trauma, opportunity, social influences, and personal choices all matter. Yes, we should flat out condemn harmful behavior without reducing an entire group of people to the actions of some individuals, even if a lot of people are doing it.
English

@MirageRC3 @Wesleymooch @aznnorth @kangminlee Excellent point and analogy. I get your point. However in some cases there's no cheating if the husband is honest with his wife and both consent. But even in a cheating case, it still just cannot compare to the violence blacks bestow upon society. I rather get cheated on than
English

@Mike_Pence That’s what I’m most concerned about. Even if they stop trying to make a nuclear weapon, if they put the extra money towards terrorists, we’re still in conflict.
English

Following his historic decision to strike Iran this year and last summer, President Trump has earned the latitude to try to put together a negotiated peace.
I don’t want to prejudge this. We’re all hopeful, but I just don’t trust the Iranians.
For 47 years, this regime has breathed Death to Israel and Death to America.
Unless we see Iran completely and verifiably dismantle its nuclear program, its ballistic missile program and renounce support of terrorist proxies, I believe we should unleash our Armed Forces to finish the job. 🇺🇸

This is interesting, but a scientific finding is not a destiny. Many human beings have impulses they don’t have to act on. For example, a married man may feel attraction toward other women, but that does not mean he is destined to be unfaithful and cheat on her. Character, self control, values, upbringing, and environment all matter.
Also, even if a genetic variant appears more frequently in an ethnicity doesn’t prove that Black people are automatically violent. We can’t turn one statistic into a broad racial judgment.
English

@MirageRC3 @aznnorth @kangminlee Human should be judged by the content of their character not their skin color. Realistically we do not know to what extent DNA impacts behavior. I understand your frustration here but it might be a factor. We attribute behavior in animals to DNA
