I think the idea of us being alone is much more absurd and unrealistic than us not being alone. The argument of “if life out there exist, why haven’t they contacted us?” Is even more absurd, because it’s more like why would they contact us? How would they even know we exist in that endless ocean of galaxies? Maybe they’re more advanced than us and they don’t care and maybe they’re too primitive, or even microscopic or oceanic and they aren’t aware. Either way, there’s definitely something out there, and not just in one place
