Caufield is behind Bure and Hull in terms of the number of goals to tie or go ahead. But he’s at a ridiculous 61% of his goals to tie or go ahead. Must be the absolute record, not even close!

Marc Denis said it best: « l’énergie positive contagieuse de Cole Caufield ». So important. For that alone, Cole Caufield should be our MVP. Scoring goals is fun, allows everyone to play more freely and in a positive atmosphere.

Doug Armstrong would be a tremendous addition to the Leafs but not as GM. His energy has gone down and you could see it, prior and during the Olympics.

Not to absolve Treliving but 1) wrong hire, wrong time 2) very little responsibility in Marner debacle which set them back yrs 3) happens when you can’t create environment conducive to players willing to commit long term. Hold team hostage and mistakes are made. Same w/ Oilers
