2026 Topps Chrome WWE Analysis & Deep Dive Like any business that enjoys making money, Topps has a simple playbook: when something hits, print more of it. And make no mistake, 2025 WWE Chrome hit. Just look at current secondary- $235 Megas and $100 Blasters seem demented. So of course, collectors are lined up for 2026. On the surface, this release will remind you why 2025 worked so well. The formula is similar. The auto checklist is dynamic. There are chases galore. It turns out 2026 WWE Chrome is basically 2025 on steroids. But should it command similar pricing? Are there any hidden values, or is it all overpriced? Somebody has their hand in your pocket- but who? The manufacturer, or the resellers? Let's peel the curtain back a bit. Welcome to 2026 Topps Chrome WWE. Release date- April 10th Hobby box drop price- $279.99 (presale $269.99) 2025 hobby drop price- $169.99 (presale $159.99) Already, we have a reason for concern. The price of a hobby box, with the same dynamics, directly from Topps is +64% YOY. It turns out, last year may have been a bit underpriced, and Topps noticed. I can't say I blame them. If there's one number in this whole write-up you should know, it's this one- Total cards in the product: 21,723,420 Why is that important? 2025 Total cards in the product: 7.931,728 YOY +174% WWE Chrome went from a boutique Chrome line with similar production to Chrome UFC and Chrome Marvel to a full-fledged, mainstream release in one year. Now it's in the same neighborhood as legit massive releases like Bowman Chrome Baseball and Bowman Chrome University Football. There is an additional Logofractor SKU, but that only accounts for an additional 1.16m cards, or ~5% of the product. And a new First Day Issue SKU which adds virtually nothing. Is it warranted? Probably. Is it better for the product? It should be..on paper. WWE is popular. This should not be a product that is impossible for collectors to find at MSRP. But, I have a feeling that will not be the case. Let's be honest. We'll never sniff a hobby box again for $280. They're already $450, and will probably go up from there. Is there any chance retail formats can pick up the slack? We'll get there. As this develops, you'll see that, from a product dynamics standpoint, there is an argument to be made that 2026 WWE Chrome is an even stronger product than 2025. But I absolutely hate that it's $450/hobby, especially with almost 3× production YOY. This is unreachable for many of the most die-hard fans that deserve access to the product. Someone is raking you over the coals, and it's not just Topps. Total production by format: Hobby: 2026- 41,814 boxes (3,485 cases) 2025- 31,825 boxes (2,652 cases) YOY +31.4% Breaker's Delight: 2026- 13,668 boxes (2,278 cases) 2025- 12,250 boxes (1,531 cases) YOY +11.6% Mega: 2026- 119,408 boxes (5,970 cases) 2025- 40,300 boxes (2,015 cases) YOY +196.3% Value: 2026- 376,157 boxes (9,404 cases) 2025- 99,826 boxes (2,496 cases) YOY +276.8% First Day Issue: 1206 Boxes (100 cases) Logofractor: 33,300 boxes (1,665 cases) Sapphire: 10,000 boxes (1,000 cases) ***PLEASE NOTE***- there is a lot of retail product out there, much more than last year. If you look, you very well might find some. You do not have to resort to paying secondary market pricing for retail right out of the gate. Hit Rates: Hobby: Autos- 2.4 (Sell sheet data claims 2 autos/box. The math comes up to 2.4. Similarly, 2025 WWE Chrome math says 2.5 autos/box. I haven't watched any rips, so not quite sure what the real-world rips show. If last year's hobby boxes commonly had an extra auto, this this year's will too, at nearly the same rate. ) Parallels- 16.4 Inserts- 12 Numbered cards- 5.3 Breaker's Delight: Autos- 3.4 (Sell sheet says 3. It's possible these could also commonly produce an extra auto.) Parallels/Numbered cards- 6 Inserts- 1 Megas: Autos- 1 per 2.75 boxes (last year autos were 1 in 2 Megas) Parallels- 11.2 Inserts- 5.2 Numbered Cards- 1.2 Value Boxes: Autos- 1 per 8.6 boxes (Last year Autos fell 1 per 9.6 boxes) Parallels- 4 Inserts- 6 Numbered Cards- 1 per 1.5 boxes Logofractor: Autos- 1 per 5.3 boxes Parallels- 1 Inserts- 0.5 Numbered Cards- 1.5 (this is higher than parallels due to numbered inserts, which I don't categorize under parallels) Sapphire: Autos- 1 per box Parallels/Numbered cards- 3.2 Inserts- The only inserts are the rare Sapphire Selections and Infinite, which should combine to fall 1 per 8 boxes (1.25/case). Value Map: Based on secondary market pricing of $450/hobby, $750/Breaker's & MSRP on retail SKUs ($60/Mega, $30/Value). $/Card: 1) Value- $1.07 2) Mega- $1.25 3) Hobby- $4.69 $/Parallel- 1) Mega- $5.36 2) Value- $7.50 3) Hobby- $27.44 $/Auto- 1) Mega- $163.80 2) Hobby- $186.72 3) Breaker's- $218.66 4) Value- $257.10 $/# Card- 1) Value- $46.20 2) Mega- $51.28 3) Hobby- $84.91 Best formats: At current pricing, if you can find Megas in the wild, that’s your play. At $60, they’re the best path to parallels and autos and clearly outclass Value boxes. They also hold up well on rare inserts. Best odds for Signalz and Gamut, second best for Hidden Gems and Let’s Go. They do trail in Helix, where Breaker’s and Hobby take over, but still beat Value across the board. Here’s the kicker. Megas are also the cheapest way to hit most autos. Even cheaper than Hobby. That still holds at $100 per Mega, although at that price Hobby starts to pull ahead on rare insert upside. Overall, Megas are the best value format. But there’s one major catch. The ceiling in this product is massive. You’ve got auto subsets tied to names like The Rock, John Cena, Stone Cold, CM Punk, Lita, Trish, Brock. Huge Dual Autos too. Real grail stuff. You’re not hitting any of that in Megas, or Value boxes for that matter. Those top-end autos, along with Debut Patch Autos, are locked behind the Hobby and Breaker’s Delight paywall. So while Megas give you strong overall bang for the buck, the handful of highest-end nukes aren't possible. Conclusion: I'm an old school wresting fan from way back. I absolutely dig all the legend autos you can pull in this product. Though I haven't watched in ages, I love seeing names on the checklist like Bret "Hitman" Hart, Lex Luger, Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Kane, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and Brutus Beefcake. Even "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan makes and appearance, RIP. There is no end to the awesome stuff you can pull from this. I don't even mind the print run increase as I think it makes the product more accessible to more people. But I absolutely hate the print run increase combined with the massive price hike. After the resellers plug in their profit, as much as I like the product, I don't like it at $450/hobby. And I think it will only go up from there. WWE Chrome would be a much better product if Topps would ensure everyone has a chance for a couple boxes at MSRP. I know that's a big ask, but I feel like, for the health of the hobby, it's mandatory they figure out a way to make that happen in the future. If they really want to, they can figure it out. They can talk about the "Joy of Collecting" and the "Collector Experience" until they're blue in the face. But until they take actions to make it happen, it's just lip service. Pat McAfee said if Randy Orton wasn’t in the Main Event that WrestleMania wouldn’t even be worth watching. Then proceeded to announce 25% off tickets for WrestleMania now thru Monday. HOLY FUCK. This is worse than last week.

Being that this is Royce Keys first time on the main roster, he should have a debut patch on tonight. I can’t watch at the moment, but if someone could shoot me a pic, that would great.

THE WORST group of people just pulled Sol Ruca’s Smackdown debut patch. And the person who pulled it sold it for 10K and received a case of breakers delight. 🤡

If you’re looking to snag some mega boxes today @gamestop for retail price, looks like that will not be the case. GameStop like we’ve been seeing with Pokémon are charging secondary prices.
