Whenever I doubt society, or need to be reminded about what really matters, I go to @StVincentsLeeds. Their unreserved and non-judging care and love for everyone that steps through the door is so apparent, I can't help but feel hopeful.

I'm only a very small part of this #coop, but it feels meaningful, and a way that I can progressively reduce the carbon impact of the electricity I use, probably for the rest of my life! Can't wait until it's commissioned this winter.

Just checked which of my general election candidates had expressed support for the @WeAreCyclingUK 'manifesto', and delighted to see that @edleeds has. There's been a lot of great work to enable cycling in #Leeds but this needs to go further and faster (IMO).

This makes me sad. #UtSF is a brilliant festival. I've volunteered at it 4 times, and loved being a very small part of this. It created an inclusive and welcoming community, something to be proud of. It let me dance, sing, laugh, connect, and be moved to tears. Thank you.

@bridges_tom @CityLab I've bought and live in a back to back, by choice. They're well built, thermally efficient, and spacious for a small plan area. Where I live there is more of a sense of community with many kids regularly playing together in the street than I've found elsewhere.

It is no coincidence that some of the poorest neighbourhoods in Leeds are those with back-to-backs. Has the author of the @CityLab article actually been to The Recreations in Holbeck, Harehills or Armley?

As a #cyclist I don't disagree with the 4th story - anyone and everyone should be accountable for their actions. But surely the first story is where our focus should be... on doing a lot more to improve road safety and stop the 5 people that die EVERY DAY from cars.

I'm proud to be part of @Cheesecake_CEL, helping develop this innovative energy storage technology and play my part in supporting decarbonisation - rapidly, equitably, and sustainably.

I wonder whether Reddy and Teddy's choice of books which match and complement their own colours is a conscious or subconscious decision.

Having invested in Kirk Hill, I'm very excited that this project is successfully nearing completion. Soon, through it, I'll have enabled a proportion of my electricity consumption to be generated from wind.

@RippleEnergy Since they're in Scotland, perhaps they could be named after Scottish windy words, eg: Hoolan (Orkney Scots for strong wind) Blirtie (severe blast of wind) Doister (a storm from the sea) Fissle (rustling sound caused by wind) Kittle (rising wind) Ramballiach (tempestuous day)
