@bSmithMagic @krassenstein One of the largest tech employers in my hometown hires almost exclusively college kids because they "don't have to break anybody's habits." Their spaghetti codebase bears this out. They also get people too young to have family commitments so they can work them longer hours.

@bSmithMagic @krassenstein If you've ever worked with tech CEOs like him, they hire like that to have it both ways. They want young people with no experience or salary requirements so they never question the boss's "genius." Looking progressive for the press and shareholders is just a side effect.

@hyundai so my driver profile and bluelink data mystically vanished from my 2023 Tucson on Saturday AM. Apparently I am not alone in this issue. What gives? Will I ever get it back? Is this a thing I need to expect in the future?

@industrial_book Oh rats it’s not really drag n drop. You have to code a file. You can drag and drop banks but not individual files.

@AndiHarriman In the past, I’ve ended up on festival bills with some problematic bands, because when I agreed to play, I wasn’t privy to the other bookings until all the contracts were signed. It sucks and feels like a betrayal when it happens.

Why are some festivals still booking super problematic bands? Also, shouldn’t other bands on the lineup say something? Idk…
