Just finished the staff book club read for this term. Such a powerful book: deals with war, sexuality and class in a very emotive way throughout. 📚 📖 I miss the characters already 🥺

My parents have spent the past year trying to encourage my grandparents to go into a home. They've point blank refused until now (my gran recently had a fall & my grandpa conceded it was time) so were installed in one this afternoon...and my grandpa promptly escaped 1/

@_Reading_Rocks_ Our school librarian Mrs Wilson has got me through a very busy half-term with her constant support. She put a huge effort into the celebration of World Book Day and always has time to listen to a reading related idea or to help a student who is struggling. 👏 @Library_RBHS
