#Science learning about classification - today, we were classifying plants. Can your child tell you what vascular and non-vascular mean & give examples? We enjoyed being botanists hunting for fungi and identifying trees from their twigs 🌿🍄#outdoorlearning @BalshawLaneCPS

Year 6 have begun work on writing code to create an animated story in Scratch. They really enjoyed the session today and showed resilience to debug and refine their coding when it wasn't working as they wanted it to 😃#computing #coding @BalshawLaneCPS

Before half term, we created sample pieces to explore different media for our final Art piece inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat. We experimented with silk painting, batik, embroidery and applique. We can't wait to share our final outcome with you all! @BalshawLaneCPS #art

3B have created their final art piece in the style of William Kendridge. Creating cave paintings using the medium of charcoal and natural colours. They used flowers, berries, twigs and acorns to add colour. Amazing work from everyone. 👌👌 @BalshawLaneCPS
