Each day we reflect on different parts of our day and write them down. Ask your child about their "GLAD" words after school every day! GLAD = what we are Grateful for, what did we Learn, how were we Active, and what gave us a feeling of Delight (aka happy).

We learned a lot about Remembrance Day today, and still have lots of questions. We also talked about PEACE.

Today we learned how to draw poppies as we prepared a class wreath for tomorrow's Remembrance Day focus.

Check in backpacks today for rough examples of drawing models that SHOW simple addition and subtraction equations. Note, they are NOT the same as equations (number sentences)!

What makes a great classmate? This is what our class thinks. We have been practicing saying, doing, and being these things! 🙂

More work with the colour wheel today! This time we looked at complimentary colours. Check out these works in progress!

We had a super fun time doing some guided dances on Go Noodle to work off some rainy-day-indoor-recess energy! 💃🕺

We have begun talking about safety around the home. Yesterday's homework: count how many smoke detectors you have. Today's homework: spot all the "hot" items in each room! Ask your child about how to be safe with these items.

They are great students at a great school! 😊

We took math outside today and made repeating patterns! Ask your child to explain the core, and what changes in these patterns.

Today we learned about primary colours. Ask your child what they are, and how we used them to make these beautiful rainy day umbrella pictures!

We went on a gratitude walk today and noticed the moon, the warm sun, and many beautiful trees! We are working on slowwwwing down and paying attention to the sights and sounds around us. Maybe some of you will take a family walk this weekend!
