1-Leary/Silber strutted their stuff on the library runway to show off the hats they designed and made. Thank you 4-Boyer for being such a wonderful audience! @ScarsdaleSilber@CBBoyer2#heathcotepride
I got to see 4-Boyer students boat building & see their flags and tea boxes in progress. They are a group that’s a well-oiled machine! @CBBoyer2#heathcotepride@NatlBlueRibbon
We had so much fun making and testing our whirlybird birds! We even tried different size paper clips to see if there would be a difference (bigger paper clips make it go faster) @ScarsdaleSilber#heathcotepride@NatlBlueRibbon
Ms. Puglise came in and led us in a lesson about our voices and vibrations. We felt our throat where our box is to feel which letter sounds are voiced or voiceless.@ScarsdaleSilber#heathcotepride@NatlBlueRibbon
We did what good scientists do-we shared which of our hand pollinator designs did and didn’t work to pick up and drop off pollen. We compared and analyzed which features and materials worked best. @ScarsdaleSilber#heathcotepride@NatlBlueRibbon
1st we dissected flowers, 2nd we designed hand pollinators for an L-shaped bucket orchid, 3rd we made the hand pollinators and then we tested to see which could pick up & drop off pollen best. @ScarsdaleSilber#heathcotepride@NatlBlueRibbon
What a special “In Flight” treat we received! Thank you HE PTA. And many thanks for the “special delivery “ as well! We loved reading all the postcards from students past & present! @ScarsdaleSilber#heathcotepride
