There's beauty and wonders in Nature all around us, if only we take the time to look closely to find it. These orange shapes are a rust fungus (Coleosporium tussilaginis) that was fruiting on a needle of a Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) on the Findhorn Hinterland yesterday.

I know you're busy scrolling, but look at this round moss. Round moss!

Mycena chloroxantha photographed recently in Oxapampa, Peru. The round cells are cherocytes which make up the universal veil - whitish, spiny acanthocytes are also visible. Described in 1983 from Brazil by Rolf Singer. Mushroom Observer # 628987 / iNat 341877230
