If they were promoted well through the right channels or often, they'd be a couple of songs that would be considered "hits". Most artists are nonchalant about their songs. They promote once or twice and then onto the next release

As much as catering to average SA listener makes the most sense, I'm starting to see that that's not the most sustainable thing for anyone in hip hop because the average South African, doesn't know what they want from rap.
