@ncsu_blowery @mkburkhart @NCSUTechnician @TechSports We were glad when Coach Wade spoke up b/c when we grump, no one really cares since we're just a lowly club sport (although we're nationally ranked top 30 over numerous varsity teams). The philosophy here is what's misaligned with the passion WPN has for the brand.

@kevinlatterback @RCorySmith We would however welcome a philosophy change here and a realization that students and the student-athletes (varsity or club) who represent the Wolfpack proudly are assets and not liabilities to the University and brand.

@NCStateSailing @RCorySmith It’s okay. As a former benchwarmer, I understand why you feel the need to not ruffle any feathers that may result in further scathing emails from that department. They are the biggest liability to our great University’s legacy.

@kevinlatterback @RCorySmith That's sort of what they did. We don't intend to paint them as anything but professional, but this whole philosophy and they way they view students actually representing the University as a liability is the underlying issue.
