@NiallOie Niall if you DM the car reg, I will then be able to determine the tester and centre and we can speak with them directly. If your friend wishes to complain/highlighted this please tell them to contact customer service and we will fully invesitage it.

@NCTIreland No the tester explicitly said it was due to no green stripes on registration plates. Just heard of another Tesla going to be failed yesterday for having a green stripe. But they convince them not to. Purely coincidence I'm sure! You need to clarify the rules for your testers.

.@NCTIreland a friend's 201 reg Tesla just failed the NCT as it didn't have green stripes on the registration. Yet mine passed a few days ago also without green stripes. Green stripes aren't mandatory?

@NiallOie Based on what you are telling me, it failed on other issues with the registration plate. The Green stripe is not a failure item in the NCT. Again, if you want to send me the registration number, I can investigate this further and speak with the inspector

@NCTIreland Registration Plate/chassis-Background Incorrect/Different-Middle Front/Middle Rear-Major on separate lines. So both registration plates. The tester said it was due to no green stripes. Is green registration flash a NCT requirement for 201 reg EV? Yes or No?
