Relieved that I told Ian Bailey I knew he had murdered #SophieToscanduPlantier, and that I confronted him while he was still alive. Bailey fooled some people, but he didn't fool everyone. Story in today's @IrishMirror

3/3 All this was robbed from her, for the sake of a man’s temper and a moment of unrestrained evil. I shed no tears for Bailey, a murderer who spent not a single day in jail for the vicious slaughter of a young mother. Today I pray for Sophie’s family, and I wish them strength.

2/3 Today, Sophie should be enjoying her retirement, playing with her grandchildren in the garden by the cottage at Toormore, breathing in the fresh, salty air. She should still be looking at the dry stone walls on the West Cork hills and thinking of lace draped over the land.

1/3 Put simply, Ian Bailey has gotten away with murder. I am sure Bailey killed Sophie TdP. I told him so – it was the very last thing I said to him. There will now be no justice for Sophie. Any lingering hope of a conviction on Irish soil died today with Bailey’s passing.

2/2 Did he go around in a panic telling folks in Schull he'd done it? Were his hands and arms covered in fresh scratches the day after the murder? Did he give multiple different accounts of his movements on the night of this appalling crime? RIP Sophie, and may justice be served.

1/2 Jim Sheridan is doubling down on the French assassin theory @IrishMirror @IrishSunOnline in the Sophie TdP case. I'd love to debate Jim live to put this false lead to rest once and for all. For example, did the French person Jim dug up on the internet do any of the following:

Savage murder of #sophietoscanduplantier has led to zero charges in Ireland. Is AGS dragging its feet? (It’s all about the crime scene on morning after the killing...) Still, I'm very hopeful that the murderer’s extraordinary run of good luck will end in the coming months. 2/2
