Nottingham is an amazing city but we need to be focusing on the small projects because they’re tactile projects. The smaller scale projects enable the users and public to engage with the community and architecture in an inclusive manner 🤩🏘🏗 @NIPIM1 #nottingham #growth

Final speaker of the morning is @Morgan_JohnM from @leonard_design. What makes #Nottingham unique when we're pitching for investment on a global scale? It's the small projects that need to be amplified. "They are the urban grain and fabric of our city."

Our next speaker is @boothcharlotte1 from @B_E_Design to talk about how we can get to net zero carbon by 2028. "We must not be designing buildings today that need to be retrofitted in the future".

Now we're hearing from @robroydix about the work @MarketingNG_ have been doing to promote our city and our fantastic assets... @NottmPlayhouse, @Rock_City_Notts, @BootsUK, @NottmCastle etc...

Good to see this presentation @NIPIM1 #NIPIM by @readwithsandy about the new Central Library development.

Co-founder of @NottinghamSkate @ChrisMLawton77 is dropping some data about our city. We're bigger than we think, we're one of the youngest cities in the country, and we're a bit anxious! But we've got lots to be proud of, not least our skating heritage.

Sam Veal from @BlueprintPlaces is now speaking about The Fruit Market housing development site and how they have worked wihh their next door neighbours @Nottswildlife to develop the community garden.

Next up is @readwithsandy to tell us about the new Central Library, which aspires to be the best children's library in the country. It will be a shared space, open to everyone, and a remarkable reimaging of what a library can be.

From @NottmCastle, CEO Sara Blair-Manning shows us the incredible renovations taking place and talks us through the changes we can expect. Custom built exhibition spaces, amazing audio/visual experiences, a Friar Tuck shop! Opening 8th February, 2021.
