Three children who are U.S. citizens — including a boy with cancer — were sent to Honduras by the Trump administration along with their undocumented mothers who were deported. "At no point did these parents have any choice," says immigration lawyer Gracie Willis with @NIPNLG.

I'll end this thread by noting that this husband and wife were prevented from yet another outrage being carried out against them by the hard work and lawyering of @SirineShebaya and @NIPNLG. They got their day in court. And they won spectacularly, setting important precedent.

Thanks to all who took action, Cesar and Norelia are free, and will soon be home with their children. This family should’ve never been targeted. Thanks to people power and the great lawyers at @NIPNLG, this is a win for human rights. As we celebrate, we will continue to fight for all of those being unjustly targeted, detained, or deported.
