When I say space isn't interesting people think it's my personal opinion or something. For thousands of years man looked up into the sky and wondered what was up there. Now we know. So how often are you thinking about it? How often are you viewing space videos? You don't care. Why aren't we spending all of the money of humanity into going up there and starting colonies? People don't care about space. Governments do for strategic value. As a form of geopolitical advantage Space is trying to kill you. It's not the same thing as Christopher Columbus coming to America. It's more like exploring the deepest part of the sea. A place no man wants to live.

I think the Trump McDonald's visit hit home with so many is that it was a glimmer of nobility, of a time of hierarchy and noblesse oblige rather than the usual American politician thing of pretending to be a prole, as shown by what he wore A short 🧵👇
