My first edition of the Confederate Veteran. Completed my SCV application this morning at Huguenot Springs Confederate Cemetery after helping set up for the Memorial Day service on Monday. :-D.

We dedicate a memorial flag, fully permitted. In response to a handful of complaints, the Prince Edward Co, Va Board of Supervisors claims we are in violation and it has to come down. We win at the BOZA. They appeal. We win in Circuit Court. They appeal. We win at the Va Board of appeals. They finally concede the location and height of the pole, then hit us with violations on the FLAG size since they have changed all zoning laws. We lost at BOZA this time. We appeal. Our landowner is threatened with jail time and fines if we don’t put up a smaller flag. We refuse. We are back in court next week. Pray for us and help with legal fees if you are able! The county’s pockets are deep. They think they can outlast and outspend us. They underestimate us.
