One of my 2023 resolutions was to play more individual games. After playing over 30 new titles this year, these are my top 9.

Everything else: Dome Keeper, Against the Storm, Cosmoteer, Jedi Fallen Order, The Last Spell, State of Decay 2, Everspace 2, Jedi Survivor, BattleBit, Halls of Torment, Astrea, Death Must Die, Lethal Company, Sea of Stars, Mario Wonder, TotK, plus other older titles.

Which probably only means I'm a sucker for RPGs, robots and fishing.

The biggest lie I told myself was I would get so many games done this holiday. Where does the fucking time go.

If you think about it, Die Hard is a metroidvania movie. As John McClane kills more of the terrorists and attains their equipment, he gets access to larger parts of the building.

Everyone out here posting their huge Steam year in review numbers and mine is about a total of four games and a few dozen hours 👀 Making a solo-indie game doesn’t leave a lot of time for playing games, I may need to work on the balance a little more 😅
