This weekend we released the latest version of the Atlas DB (v2024_03). This increases the number of compounds to 36,395 and maintains links to #mibig #gnps and #npmrd

@robrezende @marnixmedema The Natural Products Atlas is updated twice a year. Next update scheduled for July 2023. Previous versions of the database are stored on Zenodo and can be found via the npatlas.org/download page.

@NatProdAtlas @marnixmedema Are you still updating the DB? Is it usually released as a big update from time to time or on a everyday /week basis?

New Atlas DB release (v2022_09) out today including all user deposited corrections and submissions, and ~1,000 new compounds to align with the upcoming release of MIBiG 3.0 by @marnixmedema Barbara Terlow and the MIBiG team.

Highlight include: new public API, full taxonomical hierarchies, chemical ontologies, any much more. Read the Open Access article for full details!

And that concludes the sixth MIBiG annotathon session! Thanks to >70 great people worldwide who devoted many hours of their time to annotate hundreds of gene clusters to the benefit of the scientific community! Open science can be great fun!

@ESchymanski @egonwillighagen @jjjvanderhooft @NatProdAtlas @GNPS_UCSD @pubchem The NPA is an excellent (and leading by size) PubChem NPs example for others to follow (even COCONUT?) However, I guess these 3 CIDs illustrate one of the challenges. Could/should these be renamed Mycosubtilin A,B,C?
