As a survivor of familial child-on-child sexual abuse, I cannot accept the claim that the Rape Gang Enquiry is a ‘waste of time.’ I never got justice - I was told by my officer, and 4 CPS lawyers, that it would not go to trial as it was not in the public interest. Even if it had gone to trial, he would only get community service + rehabilitation. While he got help, I got nothing. I first spoke about my abuse in the beginning of 2025, with help from “Together For The Children.” I then went on to speak at @POB4LIFE’s demonstration a month later, and Urban Scoop interviewed me shortly after. This is how I am forced to get justice for what happened to me. And this, I can imagine, resonates with the Rape Gang survivors. We need to expose what happened to these girls - and what may still be happening to others around the country - before the monsters face real justice. I will not speak on behalf of the brave survivors helping with this enquiry, but I can speak from my own experience. While it was hard for me to speak out, knowing that people have listened to my story has helped me heal. These stories were covered up by the police - they actively helped the men groom these girls. The Enquiry isn’t just about prosecutions. It’s about being heard. You cannot secure justice without exposing the truth. The Rape Gang Enquiry is shining a light on crimes that were ignored, dismissed, covered up and even promoted for years. With this post, I do not intend to “make it about me,” in fact the opposite. As a survivor who did not get justice - but who is certainly not on the same scale - I can see exactly why the Rape Gang Enquiry is beneficial, and not a ‘waste of time’ like Reformers are claiming. It pains me to see people do not understand the purpose of it.

@Lee190485 @Raw_Milkman They're exactly the reason, and this insistence that they don't/won't take responsibility is becoming tiresome. Reform is obviously far worse, but it still feels like containment over solution. IMHO

@NeBriaTe @Raw_Milkman Im not a fan of Civnats, Reform is full of them. We are in an extreme situation that requires extreme solutions and Civnats are part of the reason how we ended up in this position.
