Ronaldo was actually tidy in the game. Very good hold up play, barely missed a pass. Simply not enough runs off him until late and when he got into good positions, his teammates barely attempted a more risky pass. The chances he missed were barely clear cut so I won’t dwell on that.

@_Its_Alex___ @NelsonThebaker Portugal as a whole struggled to break down Congo, who created more chances than Portugal did. The midfield was uncharacteristically risk averse with a lot of sideways passing and that's why they didn't win. It's not rocket science.

Not a one game thing either. It's just not a current skillset of his, whether he can improve on that remains to be seen. Just don't expect line breaking passes from him at this point.
