Week 1 Multi-Sports and it was outside to build skills and develop our ability to work in teams- all whilst having fun. Good for the body and the mind! Our boys can’t wait for more of the same at next week’s after-school activity! #NRStPfamily💙💚

The perfect way to begin Cookery Club- Pancake Tuesday! It was all hands on deck as the boys and girls took part in the planning, cooking and decorating of their pancakes and a real rush to get trying them out. Unfortunately none left over for the staff! 🥞 #NRStPfamily💙💚

Pancake fun continued in KS2 as the boys and girls mixed, stirred, poured and tossed!🥞So much more fun when the children are involved in every process- and their favourite part was definitely the sampling.😜 Lovely to see our children helping each other too. #NRStPfamily💙💚

Pancake party in the Foundation Stage as Yrs 1 and 2 had fun talking about the ingredients needed and the instructions to follow when making pancakes… and then put this into practice! Messy classrooms but happy faces!🥞Lots of opportunities for learning too🤩 #NRStPfamily💙💚

Lego Club is back and a new experience for our Y3s who joined their Y4 friends to design, plan and create at Afterschool Lego Club! We are lucky to have such keen staff who provide these opportunities for our children and such keen children too! #wecarewesharewelearn💙💚

Exploring Egypt through Art in Year 5 as the children gain new knowledge of their theme in a creative way. Building skills such as colour, line, shape and tone all whilst learning about the World Around Us. So engaged and proud of their achievements! #picoftheweek📸

Investigating using real life objects to plan for learning as part of thematic work in Year 3. Lots of materials linked to ‘Home Sweet Home’ to trigger questions and thinking skills. Being provided with real life experiences is how we learn best! #picoftheweek📸 #NRStPfamily💙💚

Y2 connecting learning by developing understanding of mathematical language which will help us in our problem solving tasks and across other areas of the curriculum. Practical reading experiences and lots of time for meaningful play too! #picoftheweek📸 #wecarewesharewelearn💙💚

Building knowledge and understanding of feelings and emotions in Y1 so that we can manage these emotion as we develop and grow- important during Children’s Mental Health Week! Thanking our dinner ladies for reading to us during Reading for Enjoyment Week too! #picpftheweek📸

Number Day 2026 over and out! Games at assembly, raffle for maths challenges completed at home, parade of costumes, 24 game across KS2, and Ben’s vouchers for super efforts. A day our children will never forget! Thanks Mrs Kelly for coordinating and everyone for participating! 🤩

The Number Day fun and experiences continue as we move through KS1 and 2. So many innovative costumes and games created by the children (and parents) and a long list of maths fun in the classrooms, around the corridors, and outside! Learning is so much fun!🤩 #NRStPfamily💙💚

We love the opportunity to promote learning in a fun way and that is just what we do on Number Day! Lots of little ones in Ys1-3 dressed in a number theme. More importantly a multitude of planned maths activities to encourage and inspire young mathematicians! #NRStPfamily💙💚

Congratulations to this superstar in Y3 who was nominated and picked out of the Value Vault for showing kindness to a friend in his class. A great boy who is a super example of our school and our values! And is his friend for nominating him! #NRStPfamily💙💚

Group award for CELEBRATE could have went to so many people this week as celebrating achievement together is what we do. Had to go to all our children who celebrated their First Confession. Faith development and promotion of school values right at the centre! #NRStPfamily💙💚

Well done to these superstars who feel pride in their own achievements and keep on reaching for the stars but equally CELEBRATE the achievements of others and encourage them to reach for the stars too! Positive attitudes for all to see! 🤩 #wecarewesharewelearn💙💚

Whole school family dinner sponsored by Mid Ulster Auctions to celebrate being part of this school family! A free meal for everyone so beautifully prepared by our fabulous kitchen staff. Great links with Children’s Mental Health Week as we remember that ‘This is My Place.’💙💚

A special job for our children as they got the opportunity to help Sean McAuley load his trailer with all the shoeboxes for Romania. A humbling experience and so special for them to be part of this process. Thanks to all our families for their kind donations! #NRStPfamily💙💚

Just as in every other year group when the week is jam packed with learning we must take time to relax and reflect. And don’t our Y7s deserve it after all their hard work and dedication recently- every single one of them! 🤩 #picoftheweek📸
