Why does it seem so likely that this government will define "social stability" as political agreement with them?
This is a government that has over-reached at every opportunity in the past 11 years.
Carney himself is authoritarian. The Liberals are totalitarian. They've all made their admiration of the CCP dictatorship abundantly clear.
Don't let them bring CCP jurisprudence here.

Social media posts deemed to undermine “social stability” would be subject to blocking orders by a federal censor under Bill #C34 introduced yesterday. “The law applies as soon as it comes into force.” — @MarcMillerVM @CdnHeritage blacklocks.ca/censor-for-sak… #cdnpoli

"A country that can't feed itself ... isn't truly sovereign," Prime Minister Mark Carney said.

@wealthmoose I spend around $20-25/per day just feeding myself (live alone) that's $750/month. If I had a family groceries would be $1200/month or more. He's so out of touch and probably never grocery shops himself

Mark Carney says families spend $800/month on groceries.
4 steaks at Costco: $78
That’s ONE meal for a family of 4.
That’s 10% of his monthly estimate gone in one dinner.
The man who expenses gourmet meals to taxpayers
just told you what groceries cost.
He has no idea. 🇨🇦🥴 #CdnPoli #Carney #Groceries

Most people have no idea how different life was 25 years ago.
No smartphone.
No GPS.
No streaming.
No social media.
If you got lost, you were lost.
If you missed a TV show, you missed it.
If someone wasn’t home, you just had to call back later.
Kids disappeared for 8 hours and came home when the streetlights turned on.
What is one thing from the 1990s or early 2000s that you genuinely miss?

Had a friend come up to Canada from the U.S. this week…
By day two, something shifted.
They stopped commenting on the scenery…
and started looking at price tags.
Groceries? Silence.
Gas? A long pause.
Basic living? Just a quiet “how do people do this?”
By the end of the trip, they said something that stuck with me:
“This doesn’t feel sustainable.”
Not political.
Not dramatic.
Just… honest.
And that’s the part that lingers.
Because when someone from the outside sees it this clearly, you start wondering—
Have we just gotten used to it?
At what point does “normal” stop being normal?
Curious what others are seeing right now… is it getting harder where you are too?

🚨 In 1987 at Ilkley Moor, UK, a police officer captured a photograph of what he claimed was an alien entity during his own abduction. The image shows a small humanoid figure standing in the moorland.
This case stands out due to the officer’s credibility, detailed testimony, and the physical evidence he provided at the time. It remains one of the more compelling UK close-encounter reports with alleged photographic proof.
