@tech_empire1 @firiiiip The genetic data is pretty clear on this. Somalis have around 60% Ancient East African DNA similar to Nilotic populations like the Dinka and around 40% Eurasian DNA similar to West Asian and North African populations. A 60/40 split between African and Eurasian DNA is mixed.

1) Lineage matters for Arabs. It can determine your name, language, culture etc.
2) On top of lineage, Somalis are still 60-70% Arabian to this day (30-40% African).
