Being at the roundtable reminded me half the battle is being in the room where decisions are made. While many of the debates are focused on P4 rev sports, 95%+ of all college athletic experiences happen outside of DI. We must preserve college athletics as it was intended. #TRWTP

Nothing says CONGRATULATIONS, You're in the @NCAADII tournament like your first round matchup being a rematch of your conference tournament. The coaches and student-athletes that work to get to the pinnacle of their sport deserve so much more. Budget, travel, missed class time. Excuse, Excuse, Excuse. Maybe the @NAIA shouting #TheRightWayToPlay from the rooftop needs to be careful modeled and adopted in championship discussions going forward.

Proud to host the first-ever Heart Shotgun Sports Conference Championships. We took this on because we believe in the sport in our region and wanted to create a championship experience student-athletes would respect — while adding common-sense collegiate structure to a sport that is incredible but also costly. Huge credit to Assistant Commissioner Madison Lantz for owning the planning & execution and to our coaches for helping bring the concept to life. Shoutout to Macie Albright for great media and content that student-athletes truly appreciated. #TheHeartsWayToPlay #TheRightWayToPlay
